The most recent software: MuzzyManageR v1.01g
The MuzzyManageR software is a Windows based application helping the MuzzyLoggeR users to manage tracks saved within the logger. The software can work under any Windows operating system (95,98,NT,2000,XP). Beside the very basic track managing features (selecting, reading) the software let you clear logger memory, change the user's identification/name, set the track points' saving interval, check the battery and memory state of the logger and easily update MuzzyLoggeR internal firmware. The MuzzyManageR software let you save tracks read from logger to IGC files. The file has its own G-record, the information allowing to verify the authenticity of the file. The verification can be done by opening the file with MuzzyManageR or with external verification tool Vali-XMR.exe IGC files and OLC contest: The G-Record attached by MuzzyManageR software to the file is acceptable and recognizable for flights being sent to OLC contest.
How to upgrade the internal MuzzyLoggeR firmware?Using the MuzzyManageR software you can upgrade the logger's firmware in a few seconds. Select the function "Firmware upgrade" from the menu and choose the right file to be loaded up to the logger.
You can find two firmware versions included in MuzzyManageR zip file (also accessible below): the basic version 1.04 (filename: ml_104.bin) - this is the former version of the MuzzyLoggeR firmware. You can always go back to this version by loading this file. the recent version 1.07 (filename: ml_107.bin) - the most recent firmware. This is a beta-test version. It is recommended not to use it yet during the important competitions.
Version history:MuzzyManageR 1.01g - German and English version update.MuzzyManageR 1.01f - The software allows to omit starting and ending points at the moment of IGC file saving. Additionaly some new information regarding the track is displayed, ie. velocity and GPS based vario. MuzzyManageR 1.01e - Flight information can be added to IGC file. This version has been accepted for flights sent to OLC contest. MuzzyManageR 1.01d - German language added. MuzzyManageR 1.01c - The first release of MuzzyManageR software.
